Demi Moore (born November 11, 1962), born Demetria Guynes, is an American actress with a trademark husky voice.

A friend persuaded Moore to drop out of high school at age 16 to become an actress. Her big break came playing the part of Jackie Templeton on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital, a role she played from 1982 to '83.

She has been married and divorced twice. Her first marriage was to musician Freddy Moore. She has three daughters by her marriage to actor Bruce Willis: Rumer Glenn, Scout LaRue and Tallulah Belle.

She appeared nude on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine in 1991 while seven-months pregnant, with enormous attendant publicity. At the height of her popularity she was spoofed with a cartoon version of herself (called "Dewmi Moore") in the popular video game series Leisure Suit Larry.

A recent film was G.I. Jane about a woman making a career within the Navy SEALs.

After a long break from her acting career Moore returned to the screen as a former member of Charlie's Angels in the film Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle. She is currently in a romantic relationship with actor Ashton Kutcher, who is 15 years younger than she.

Demetria Gene Guynes was born on the November 11, 1962, in Roswell, New Mexico. Not only was her family poverty stricken, but her entire family life wasn't much to cheer about. The future soap opera actress' childhood was a drama in itself.

By the time she was 18, Demi Moore's family had experienced divorce, poverty, alcoholism, and suicide. Her father left the family before she was born and her mother married Danny Guynes, a newspaper ad salesman. His unstable job forced the family to move around from time to time, and whatever money he did make was lost to gambling.
