Ricci (February 12, 1980) is an American actress known for her
appearance in the The Addams Family films and Sleepy Hollow, as well as
acting in independent films such as Buffalo 66, Prozac Nation, and The
Opposite. She has also begun producing films.
She has reportedly suffered from an eating disorder and has engaged in self mutilation.
She made her cinematic debut at the age of 9 alongside Cher, Bob Hoskins, and Winona Ryder in Mermaids .
She is currently dating actor Adam Goldberg.
She made her screen debut at the age of 9 in Mermaids (1990) in which
she worked with 'Cher' . Her breakthrough role was in Ice Storm,
The (1997) in which she plays a nymphet who skillfully seduces 2
brothers. Ricci was discovered by a movie critic during a primary grade
school pageant, did one year of commercial work, then was cast, at the
age of 10, as Cher’s youngest daughter in Mermaids. That career start
lead to a part in The Hard Way in the year of 1991 and then glory as
Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, and Addams Family Values. Her straight delivery, impressive her features and
excellent timing served her well and led to The Cemetery Club.
